Two new guests will arrive in the technologically-advanced Western-themed amusement park based on the promo images released by HBO for the second episode of "Westworld."

Based on the still images from the episode titled "Chestnut," a pair of new guests will make their way to the android-operated themed park. These guests, named Logan (Ben Barnes) and William (Jimmi Simpson), will play a vital part in the story of the sci-fi action thriller.

According to the character description of Logan that was reported by Entertainment Weekly in July 2015, Logan is a shady bachelor and a regular guest at Westworld. On the other hand, William is described as a friend of Logan who will reluctantly visit Westworld for the first time. He will reportedly discover a deeper meaning in the park's existence after his first visit to the theme park.

The photos also showed the park's orientation host named Angela (Talulah Riley), who will greet Logan and William upon their arrival in Westworld.

Other characters who are seen in the still images released for the promo of "Westworld" episode 2 includes Anthony Hopkins' character Dr. Ford, the creative director of Westworld. Maeve (Thandie Newton) is also presented in the photos.

Indie Wire presented the synopsis for the upcoming episode, which reads: "Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Quality Assurance head Theresa Cullen (Sidse Babett Knudsen) debate whether a recent host anomaly is contagious. Meanwhile, behavior engineer Elsie Hughes (Shannon Woodward) tweaks the emotions of Maeve, a madam in Sweetwater's brothel, in order to avoid a recall. Cocky programmer Lee Sizemore (Simon Quarterman) pitches his latest narrative to the team, but Dr. Ford has other ideas. The Man in Black (Ed Harris) conscripts a condemned man, Lawrence (Clifton Collins, Jr.), to help him uncover Westworld's deepest secrets."

The second episode of "Westworld" will be aired on HBO on Sunday, Oct. 9.
