Despite having only aired a single episode, the creators and cast members of the science fiction television series "Westworld" were very much in full attendance during the recently held 2016 New York Comic Con (NYCC).

During their panel, it was even revealed that despite not being renewed for a second season just yet, the writers are apparently already busy working on its storyline.

The panel itself was held with the show's co-creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, along with various cast members which included Thandie Newton (who plays Maeve Millay), Jeffrey Wright (who plays Bernard Lowe), Jimmi Simpso (who plays the character William), and Ben Barnes (who plays the character Loga). The event was held at the Javits Center in New York City and ran from Oct. 6 to Oct. 9.

Majority of the cast members had shared their experiences while playing their respective characters, but the real surprise was when Nolan and Joy revealed that they were actually already working on the next season and were in the process of "breaking" it out.

While HBO has yet to give the show's second season a green light, Nolan's statement can be construed as a positive sign that it is indeed coming.

During the panel, a fan had asked Nolan if there was going to be other theme parks that will be featured, similar to how they were shown in the 1973 "Westworld" movie. The fan then specified if there would be a Roman World or a Medieval World that would be showcased.

Nolan simply answered "No," with a grin. Fans of course did not outright believe his answer, with some still optimistic that there might be other robot-filled parks that will be shown in future episodes.

"Westworld" episode 2 — titled "Chestnut" — was recently aired over the weekend, while episode 3 — titled "The Stray" — is scheduled to air this Sunday, Oct. 16 on HBO.
