People from Cleveland will never forget 2016 as the year the Cleveland Cavaliers finally won the National Basketball Association (NBA) Championships after decades of drought. Similarly, fans of the Philadelphia Eagles have finally gotten their own National Football League (NFL) Championships. This definitely deserves a Super Bowl Parade and for those who wish to join, here is what they should know.

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney has already announced that the Birds' victory parade would be held on Thursday,  Feb. 8. at 11 a.m. The route would start at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue. It will continue on North to the City Hall then to Benjamin Franklin Parkway. It will end when it makes its way to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

For now, those details should be enough to watch the parade. Those who want to know more specific details about the parade can refer to the City Hall news conference later today. It has already been suggested to fans to commute instead of drive to the area as it will definitely be hard to find parking space during the event.

With the large crowds expected to attend, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is also doing its part to provide better transport by expanding its service. Both public schools and Archdiocese of Philadelphia schools will be also be closed.

Interestingly, a City Council was originally planned for Thursday but has then obviously been canceled. "I have never in my life been so excited to cancel a work meeting," says Council President Darrell Clarke, per Philly.com. "The Philadelphia Eagles' historic victory last night was richly earned and deserved by players, team employees, and fans."

The event does not stop at the end of the parade. There are festivities being prepared and will be held on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
