The upcoming narrative indie game "Where the Water Tastes Like Wine" recently released its second character trailer, and the video was uploaded to Good Shepherd Entertainment's YouTube channel on Jan. 24.

A little over a minute long, the video introduced the second batch of characters — Cassidy (voice acted by Nicholas Saenz), Rose (voice acted by Sarah Elmaleh), Rosio (voice acted by Amparo Garcia-Crow), and Franklin (voice acted by Arif S. Kinchen). The second character trailer also featured more of the game's unique art style and more of the voice acting behind each character.

The first set of characters were introduced earlier on Jan. 10.

Character trailers aside, video game news website Gamasutra recently conducted an interview with Dim Bulb Games, the developer of "Where the Water Tastes Like Wine." The interview was posted to Gamasutra's website on Feb. 1.

In the interview, Dim Bulb Games' Johnnemann Nordhagen talks a little about the company and its upcoming game. Dim Bulb Games was reportedly founded by Nordhagen who previously worked with both Sony and BioShock. Eventually, he decided to make indie games and went on to create The Fullbright Company and the somber and emotionally laden narrative game titled "Gone Home."

Nordhagen reportedly came up with the concept sometime after "Gone Home" was released. After the game was finished, he traveled around the world for six months. During his travels he met many people and exchanged his own stories with them. And that is where the idea for the narrative adventure "Where the Water Tastes Like Wine" came from.

While the upcoming game does not have a specific release date yet, it currently has a Steam page for curious gamers who wish to learn more about it. The synopsis on the Steam page reads:

"Where the Water Tastes Like Wine is an upcoming game about traveling, sharing stories, and surviving manifest destiny."
