Why the words 'God chose me!' hold so much power — Kyle Winkler explains

Today's culture has fooled people into thinking that there is no reason for their existence because they are "mere products of some primordial soup that randomly formed together."

But Christian author and "Shut Up, Devil!" mobile app maker Kyle Winkler would like to attest otherwise.

"You are no surprise to God! The truth is that God had you in mind before your parents ever conceived you. Like a potter's hand to clay, God crafted you with great care, from the inside out. Not a single one of your features were an afterthought," he says in a YouTube video.

It's true that there are some people who are raised by an absent parent, and many feel alone and abandoned because they have no family and friends to turn to. Winkler says it does not come as a surprise why people feel like they have no purpose in their lives.

But even though earthly parents have abandoned their children, the Heavenly Father in heaven will never do so. Winkler suggests that people live by the thought, "God chose me!" When they begin to embrace this reality, their lives will change for the better, he assures.

"Think about the implications of that! You are not an accident, nor are you unwanted. Regardless of the way you entered this world or what's happened since you've been here, you are God's desire," says Winkler. "Build your confidence on the truth that God has chosen you, and even against all odds, He has a plan to use you!"

Winkler adds that God knows people better than they know themselves. God also knows what He was getting when He made His children, so despite all the good, bad, and ugly aspects of their lives, Winkler says that there is a good reason why God still brought them into existence.
