World-renowned comedians Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon are going to host the 2018 Rose Parade in Pasadena for Amazon. Ferrell and Shannon, however, won't be themselves when they host the celebration.

Ferrell will host the Parade as bald-headed Cord Hosenbech and Shannon will be the lovely Tish Cattigan. Amazon Prime and Funny or Die will be working together for the live coverage on Jan. 1. The live stream will be carried out by Funny or Die on the first day of 2018 at 11 a.m. EDT. The live coverage is expected to run for two hours.

Amazon and Funny or Die have not released any hints or information if a surprise host will be joining Ferrell and Shannon.

Meanwhile, Amazon released a video to introduce Cord and Tish on Nov. 22. Tish's introduction is lively and exciting. On the other hand, Cord walks on stage with a low tuba music background so he decides to do it again. After the third failed attempt for a grand entrance, Cord says, "Please no music. I'm not happy, but I'm not mad."

Based on comments from netizens, the comedic duo to host the parade are the perfect match. Ferrell and Shannon are both alumni from Emmy award winning show "Saturday Night Live." Ferrell and Shannon also worked in several comedy movies like "The Thin Pink Line," "Superstar," and "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby."

The Rose Parade is one of the most-awaited celebrations in the United States. The parade is held annually in Pasadena, California. People from all over the country gather together to watch a parade of gigantic and beautiful floats. The floats come from different parts of the United States and presented in the streets of Pasadena.

The United States will close 2017 with the Times Square Ball Drop in New York city and open 2018 with the Rose Parade in California.
