In the next episode of "Will & Grace," Jack McFarland (Sean Hayes) is close to landing an acting job in a commercial.

In the sneak peek for the upcoming installment titled "Emergency Contact," Karen Walker (Megan Mullally) enters Will Truman's (Eric McCormack) apartment and introduces McFarland in grand fashion as he is close to getting a new acting gig. The animated actor then merrily strides in and poses at the door with his hands raised up dramatically. However, Walker cuts her introduction halfway as she forgets McFarland's last name. "You know my last name, Karen," he says in frustration. The forgetful woman just brushes it aside and continues on her way.

Truman, who is eating at the breakfast table, asks McFarland if he really booked an acting job for a commercial. The confident actor replies, "Technically I probably booked it. They unofficially told the gal who is basically my agent that it is between me and approximately three other guys. So... it's in the bag." McFarland then prances away to audience laughter.

In the previous episode, McFarland was not too confident about himself when he and Truman went out to meet other guys at a bar. They were older gay men who were seen as "dads" by the younger males around them. This prompted him to try out Walker's ointments and creams which she claimed could make people look younger.

McFarland invited a man up to his apartment and applied the ointment on his face but he turned out looking like a plastic mannequin which scared the wits out of his date. Needless to say, McFarland's man of the night bolted out the door and left him in his apartment alone with the thick facial cream.

"Will & Grace" season 9 episode 3 will return on Thursday, Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. EDT on NBC.
