"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is already a great game but developer CD Projekt Red is not slowing down in making the action role-playing game even better. This is why there are two mega expansions on the way, set to convince players to stay longer in the Northern Kingdoms.  

The first DLC will have players busy for 10 hours of new missions and storylines. The second one will double that. To give fans an idea of how big these expansion packs will be, game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz revealed to Gamereactor that these two will be as huge, if not bigger than "The Witcher 2." 

"The expansion packs will be whole new storylines with all the elements you've got in the main story (like cutscenes, new characters, new items, new Gwent cards) and many, many more. They will be quite long," he explained. "Even now, if you sum up this 10 to 20 hours and you compare it to The Witcher 2, it's almost the size of The Witcher 2. And it will be cool, it will be new stories, it will be very emotional stories and I think that people will be happy." 

The first "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" expansion called "Hearts of Stone" will be available in October. The second one titled "Blood and Wine" is scheduled for release early next year. These two enrich the game even more, knowing that there are actually 200 hours of content in the game itself. 

"I think it's possible that they will be bigger because it's always like this (that when we plan some time or hours, it's twice or something like this), but I'm not promising anything right now," he continued.
