Without Christ

'I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.'(John 15:5 NIV)

|PIC1|There is a difficulty we face in our lives; we drift from the heart of God, though we go to Church, though we pray, we begin to do so with our own understanding and energy. Along the path of faith, we begin going with our own strength, and the light within us begins to fade - our image grows dull...

We can go to Church, but we look bored, we should praise, but we look uninterested. We have forsaken our first Love, but are too pious to admit it. A.W Tozer writes that if only someone would pray the truth, then God would not be angry, if only we would humble ourselves, admitting our insufficiencies, then God would be able to help us...

But we do not accept our arrogance, we do not look towards the love of God, we do not see His tears amongst our own...if we were to do so, then God would help...

Though many refuse His love, let us be the one's to accept it with wide open hearts...

"As a fair exchange - I speak as to my children - open wide your hearts also" (1 Corinthians 6:13 NIV)

Let us end the history of tears, and make a history of joy...

Prayer
Lord, all of me I open to You. Fill me, mould me, use me.

Thought
Without Christ we are nothing. We can bear no fruit, we can receive no Love, we can do nothing...
