"Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus" has received a lot of hype since it was first announced that the critically acclaimed "The New Order" was finally getting a sequel. A few days before the game officially launches on Oct. 27, here's everything you need to know about "Wolfenstein 2."

Good news first, not that there's a bad, but the "Wolfenstein 2" U.K. Collector's Edition is getting a huge price reduction. It is exclusively available at U.K. retailer Game for £59.99. According to Videogamer, the discounted game will also come with a steelbook case, a Terror-Billy action figure, a collectible box and a poster. An urgent note for fans wanting to purchase, there are only three days left before the sale ends.

Meantime, for gamers who have caught the hype but have not been able to play any of the prequels, here are a few notes.

The first-person shooter game will still follow William "BJ" Blazcowikz as he struggles to bring down the Nazi regime. It is set some months after the explosive end of "The New Order," which caused BJ to fall into a coma. He is being cared for by his soon-to-be wife Anya Oliwa, who is also carrying their twins.

At the beginning of this sequel, BJ and his group of Resistance are being haunted by a massive warship led by Frau Engel. She will eventually find the submarine the Resistance is using as base about the same time BJ wakes up from his coma.

The game's plot will revolve around BJ and the Resistance's move to the United States to start a second American Revolution, with the hope that it is the key to finally overthrow the Nazis.

Heavy gunplay action using a great variety of weapons can still be expected. But a new feature comes in a cover system that will aid a player's approach in a firefight.

Months prior to its release, Bethesda already announced that the game will receive four expansions with the Freedom Chronicles season pass ($25). The first expansion — Episode Zero — will be available as soon as it launches, at least for season pass holders and those who pre-ordered via the official website.

"Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus" will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Oct. 27, and for Nintendo Switch in 2018.
