Japan will try to keep their winning streak alive in the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup as they take on Ecuador who is yet to capture a victory and is coming off a devastating 10-1 loss to Switzerland giving the Swiss their first win of the tournament.

Ecuador started their campaign with a 6-0 defeat to Cameroon before being crushed by the Swiss Friday in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Defender Angie Ponce scored Ecuador's lone goal this tournament with a penalty kick in the 64^th minute against Switzerland.

But it was a horrible performance for them the entire game already down two goals to none to end the first half.

It was a total collapse for Ecuador in the second half as they allowed forwards Fabienne Humm and Ramona Bachmann score hat tricks.

Forward Eseosa Aigbogun and midfielder Martina Moser also netted goals to help the Swiss bury Ecuador completing a bounce back following a 1-0 tournament opener loss to Japan.

Meanwhile, Japan is favored to win over Ecuador Tuesday following victories over Switzerland (1-0) to open the tournament and Cameroon (2-1) which made them the first nation to secure a place in the knockout stage.

Japan scored two goals in the first half to keep Cameroon at bay Friday.

Defender Aya Sameshima netted the first goal for Japan just six minutes into the match for a 1-0 advantage.

In the 17^th minute, forward Yuika Sugasawa scored again for Japan as Cameroon faced a 2-0 deficit before intermission.

Forward Ajara Nchout scored Cameroon's only goal in the match at the 90^th minute to cut the lead 2-1.

The match almost ended in a draw during stoppage time with a header from midfielder Gaëlle Enganamouit but her late game effort came up short as Japan handed them their first loss.

Japan will likely get their third victory Tuesday at the Winnipeg Stadium against Ecuador after defeating the nations that dominated the debuting country in the 2015 World Cup.
