Advertised with almost nothing but a trailer, Warner Bros. Pictures looks like they lucked out on the recent screening of "Wonder Woman." Although many fans were excited if only to see Gal Gadot on a huge screen, fans are raving on social media about the success of the film.

Picking up from her roles in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Fast and Furious," Gadot took another challenge when she was asked to represent the iconic character of Diana Prince who would later become another superhero named Wonder Woman. Considering how there didn't seem to be enough noise about the film, "Wonder Woman" is raking in a lot of profit from its recent screening.

After the disaster that was "King Arthur" flopped critically, Warner Bros. is now pressured to make up for the loss of the high-budget movie with "Wonder Woman." So far, Washington Post reports that Gadot's feature film looks like it's going to skyrocket off the charts. Critics say that it must be because of the exemplary visuals or the fact that a superheroine is apt and needed in current society. Regardless of who should take the credit for the success of "Wonder Woman," fans are getting hyped up for the release which is less than a month away.

As if the overwhelmingly positive reviews aren't enough, producer Zack Snyder recently announced on the red carpet that the sequel for "Wonder Woman" is already in the works, according to Screen Rant. There are not enough details to disclose but it looks like the writers of the film are just as excited for the development of Diana as much as the fans are.

"'Wonder Woman' is very different in tone and style than 'Batman v Superman' and 'Suicide Squad,'" said Deborah Snyder, a producer on all of the films, in an interview with Variety. "We pick directors who have their own points of view, so that each of our films will have their own personality."

In an entertainment world where male superheroes are always given the spotlight and would never feature a solo superheroine, "Wonder Woman" provides a refreshing view that many viewers are looking for after such a testosterone-filled year in 2016.

"Wonder Woman" is set to be released on June 2.
