Following the four single-player campaigns that were released for "World of Tanks," a fifth War Stories campaign has been launched. This time around, the new campaign has taken a more historical approach when it comes to the massively multiplayer online game.

The fifth War Stories campaign for "World of Tanks" is called "Runaway Tiger," with the story is divided into three parts. It takes place during a different version of the Battle of El Alamein.

Players go through the campaign as the protagonist of the story, French resistance fighter Marianne Durieux. The objective is to acquire a prototype version of a Panzer VI or a Tiger tank. Of course, securing a Tiger tank is not going to be easy.

The player has to evade capture as the tank is heavily guarded. Once the tank is acquired, players will have to escape from the facility they are being held in and give the tank back to the Allies, therefore ensuring victory.

The "Runaway Tiger" campaign is free for those who play "World of Tanks" on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Players who use PlayStation 4 and Xbox One get an added perk of 4K HDR support of the consoles.

Alongside the Runaway Tiger campaign, the latest patch update for "World of Tanks" also brought in other features including the Multi-Base Assault game mode. It is available on five maps and only available in Team Training and Tournaments. The five maps are Ghost Town, Cliff-Winter, Mines, Mines Rain and Liberty Falls.

Another new feature, Tank Flags, further expands the players' ability to personalize their tanks by adding flags. Players can now choose a regular flag or create their own. Meanwhile, the newly added Premium Tank Tree displays all the rare Premium tanks that currently exist in the game.

Other additions are the Log Tab, where players can access 10 of their latest battles which are now also saved across game sessions, as well as the Berlin Winter and Cliff Winter maps. The update also brought in bug fixes and improvements.
