"World of Warcraft: Legion" fans were surprised when game developer Blizzard released Patch 7.1, "Return to Karazhan," recently. The latest update contains new quests, changes on PvP mechanics, new stories, and new adventures, among others.

According to the patch notes, a new Karazhan Mythic Dungeon was added that requires a five-player team who needs to defeat the eight mythical bosses that reside inside. Players will also have a continuation of the Suramar campaign that is composed of several quests unlocked over a nine-week period.

The new mythic dungeon is described as: "From the moment of its mysterious creation, the purpose of this dark tower has been intertwined with the history of the Guardians of Tirisfal, once Azeroth's greatest bulwark against the Legion. It is now best known as the home of Medivh, who tragically betrayed Azeroth and brought the unbroken chain of Guardians to an end. This legacy makes Karazhan a place of particular interest for the Legion, who have descended in full force in an effort to open a new front in their war on the denizens of Azeroth."

A new world also opens up via the Trial of Valor Raid. Players will be venturing further into the tale of Odyn and Helya, which will let them gather their strength to fight the three-boss raid. It is currently available for Normal and Heroic difficulties, and after two weeks, Mythic and Raid Finder levels will open up as well.

"World of Warcraft: Legion" Patch 7.1, "Return to Karazhan," also offers a new quest line, the Helarjar World Quests. A new "Call to Action" in Dalaran will provide the portal to the inner sanctum of Helya's influence on the Broken Isles. Players are also suggested to keep some Falcosaur eggs and feathers. The feathers can be used for first aid, while the egg can be used in cooking. An orphaned Falcosaur can also be kept as a pet.

Additionally, Artifact Power rewards are now increased during PvP events. Honor talents will not be discarded when players opt for a Prestige level, and players will receive gold or artifact power in relation to their respective honor talents. More rewards will be offered for players with higher prestige levels.

Class changes were also implemented with the latest patch.
