Worship Explosion 2005

Worship Explosion 2005 will be held in Llangollen, Wales this summer over 30-31 July 2005. Worship Exposition 2005 promises a fast-paced program for whole family.

The event is organised by Blazing Torch Ministries which contains members of the local Methodist churches and is sanctioned by the Buckley Cross Methodist church council in the Buckley & Deeside Methodist circuit.

Organisers say: "We want to attract all ages and so are ensuring that there will be something for everyone, that's why, as well as the main stage there will be a variety of alternative attractions, including dance, mime, escapology and a resource exhibition."

"It's a worship event in North Wales, one of the first of it's kind in the area, and among those taking part is Mal Pope who has recently written the musical Amazing Grace the story of Evan Roberts who was used by God in the 1904 Welsh revival," said Pete Sinclair in an e-mail to ASSIST News Service (ANS).

There will be main stage events all day in addition to evening celebrations. Christian artists from Britain such as Superhero, Acquitted and 2004 Ultimate showcase winners Supervision will take part.

Several workshops, seminars, Youth Ministry and Children's Ministry are the main attraction of the event.

For Youth ministry, for 12-20 years old, Superhero will lead the praises and Andy Economides will be the host.

In an attempt to attract families there will also be a marquee of Children's ministry, where children will be provided with games, puppets, music, dance and drama. The program will be hosted by Jim Bailey and a team from Kingdom Creative Ministry. On Sunday afternoon there will be a Family praise party led by the children themselves.

On the main stage, several acts ranging from contemporary celebrations (Dave Bilbrough and Trish Morgan) to more traditional ones (Denbigh Male Voice Choir) are scheduled.
