'WWE 2K15' PC release date this spring

Xbox and PlayStation console fans have already been enjoying "WWE 2K15," and those who want to play the wrestling simulation game on PC just have to wait until spring to do so.

WWE made the announcement on their official website, saying:

"This spring, WWE 2K15, the latest edition of 2K's venerated series of WWE video games, will make its long-awaited debut on Windows PC. Grappling gamers can expect a world-class gaming experience from the PC version of WWE 2K15, which will mirror its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One counterparts."

Game developer 2K Games assured fans that the soon-to-be released PC version of "WWE 2K15" will also contain what the Xbox and PlayStation versions have, such as the 2K Showcase modes as well as the MyCareer option.

Aside from getting the full game, those who will get the PC edition of "WWE 2K15" on the day of its release can get instant access to two versions of both Sting and Hulk Hogan characters. These versions could be an ideal opponent for the cover star of "WWE 2015," John Cena.

The wrestler also talked about what fans should expect from the new PC version of the game, saying:

"One of the great bonuses of getting the game on PC is that you get nearly all of the downloadable content that was released after WWE 2K15 launched in October free, as part of the package. That's an incredible amount of content: 36 extra characters, 4 new managers, 26 matches, 46 entire single player stories and cut scenes in 2K Showcase, and a whole lot more. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that that's a pretty awesome deal."

WWE did not mention the exact release date of the PC edition of the game, but fans should expect to see it after a few weeks. They can also pre-order the game on Steam at 10 percent less than its regular price.

While waiting, fans can now get the very first "WWE 2K" simulation game on mobile devices, introduced early this month.
