WWE 2015 news: Will an Austin vs. Lesnar match be good for Wrestlemania 32?

Stone Cold Steve Austin did have his share of the limelight and is without question one of the best things the WWE had during his reign until an injury forced him into retirement.

Austin is still around and active in the WWE scene but mostly out of the ring. Such is understandable considering an untoward incident at this stage of his career could prove devastating.

But known to be the warrior he is, Austin will never back down from anything, including a fight with the dangerous Brock Lesnar.

By now many have heard the wild rumor (or is it?) that Austin is considering a ring return against Brock Lesnar in Wrestlemania 32. Some perceive it as a joke while others are eagerly wanting to know if such a match would materialize.

On the realistic side, it could be feasible to see if it were something other than an actual wrestling match. Everyone knows that despite being scripted and practiced, there are dangers. Just look at the stars on the injured list right now like Tyson Kidd, Rusev and Sami Zayn, all younger wrestlers than Austin but are now on the sidelines.

The thought of seeing the Rattlesnake in competitive action will always be something to look forward to but his overall condition and health is more important. Lesnar is not exactly young as well but the fact is that the Beast Incarnate is still active and has no known injuries as far as we know.

Considering that Wrestlemania 32 is an event that will likely see WWE Legends appear and take part in, competing against a dangerous and strong opponent in Lesnar may not necessarily be suited for Austin.

Arrogant as he may be in accepting the fact that he stands to sustain serious injuries, a match like this could be something worth looking forward to but not at the expense of seeing a WWE Legend suffering from serious injuries and probably not being around to do special appearances or podcasts if that is to happen.

So will it happen? The chances of it don't look bright although the thought of it is simple something pegged to take anyone's breath away.

Will Steve Austin vs. Brock Lesnar really take place at Wrestlemania 32?
