Will Daniel Bryan be retiring (for good) soon? Or will he be fit enough to compete against Bad News Barrett come the WWE Extreme Rule pay-per-view set on April 26?

Everyone knows that Bryan's health is now a concern. Rumors suggest that the current WWE Intercontinental title-holder may have re-injured his neck. Other rumors suggest that it was just a concussion.

To date, there is no official word on his true state of health though the real score behind his injury could be revealed soon. This is after the WWE gets the results of Bryan's diagnostic test which will be used to determine if he is fit enough to compete at Extreme rules.

Many believe that Bryan may have forced the issue when he returned to the ring too early. To recall, fans thought that Bryan was all set to retire until he announced that he would be competing at the WWE Royal Rumble.

Bryan did make a good account for himself and even went as far as facing off against Roman Reigns on WWE Fast Lane. After losing he settled to compete in a grueling ladder match which rewarded him the IC title.

However, it looks like the toll from that punishing match and Bryan's preference to continue is high-risk moves may be catching up on him.

It will be recalled as well that questions started the rise when Bryan was pulled from the European tour due to nagging injuries. The initial word back then was that Bryan would take a month to heal.

So now it remains up in the air on whether Bryan and Barrett would still face off at Extreme Rules. The match is still the official card for the event although that could change once the results of the diagnostic test come out.
