WWE 2015 rumors: Has Dolph Ziggler officially re-signed?

Dolph Ziggler may have finally come to terms with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) after earlier rumors indicate that both camps were at a stand-off. As it turns out, Ziggler may be getting that push he was asking for but it won't be for a WWE title.

Rather it will come in the form of an appearance in the movie "6:42."

For people who have been following the WWE storyline, Ziggler is in the middle of a feud with Alexander Rusev. It may be recalled that Rusev handed Ziggler a severe beating during the July 6 edition of WWE RAW, showing Ziggler being carried out of a stretcher when the Bulgarian Brute attacked the Showoff.

If you missed that segment, you can watch it below.

Ziggler is of course not hurt in real life and the incident was made to allow both superstars to address other matters on hand.

For Ziggler, he will be starring as Ray Fritzpatrick in "6:42." According to revealed storylines, Ziggler will have to deal with a plot to blow up a child with a bomb strapped to his chest as he tries to overcome his past.

The filming will reportedly keep Ziggler out of WWE action for about a month or so although the Showoff could make his return in time for the WWE SummerSlam this coming August.

For Rusev, it gives him the perfect opportunity to rebuild his almost forgotten character. Though there is no clear path for him right now, he did try to take another shot at John Cena's United States title but fell short once again.

That angle could be short-lived since Cena is still in the middle of a storyline with Kevin Owens.

On what the WWE plans for Rusev until SummerSlam has yet to be known although the Bulgarian Brute could still be working a storyline with his former handler, Lana.

Both Ziggler and Rusev are likely to face off at WWE SummerSlam, something that could go as far as involving Lana and Summer Rae.
