The next big World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) pay-per-view (PPV) is the 2016 Royal Rumble which will happen on Jan. 24, with a couple of entrants already known.

To date, The Big Show and Curtis Axel have been confirmed for the 30-man battle royal with a whole lot more expected to appear. Some will likely be announced while the other stars who will be joining will likely be made known in the coming weeks.

But who is really tipped to win the 2016 Royal Rumble? One thing to watch out is that the eventual winner will likely be the one pegged to face the WWE champion at Wrestlemania 32. And with that said there are two names that are being mentioned as of report writing — Brock Lesnar and John Cena.

Now, do take note that there is no assurance yet on whether the 2016 Royal Rumble winner will eventually move on to challenge the heavyweight champion. Roman Reigns is currently holding the belt and with that said, there are other rumors to consider.

One is that Reigns has been widely speculated to possibly face-off against Triple H. That match was originally tipped off for Seth Rollins but after falling to injury, the focus has been diverted to the Big Dog.

Lesnar could be a good choice, although it would mean a repeat of Wrestlemania 31. Even though Lesnar and Reigns never really found out who was the best between the two, a rematch does draw some mixed reactions.

Add to the fact that Bray Wyatt is also rumored to be feuding with Lesnar, possibly costing the Beast Incarnate a chance to win the battle royal. Then again, all that could change or even be delayed.

Cena, on the other hand, has been widely speculated to face The Undertaker who could be in for his last Wrestlemania match. Nothing is clear at this point, so a Reigns vs. Cena finale at Wrestlemania 32 could still happen.
