'WWE 2K15' DLC updates: 'Path of the Warrior' out tomorrow
It is only a matter of time before players of "WWE 2K15" will be able to go back to the trail of the Ultimate Warrior. Just recently, it was confirmed that the much-awaited "Path of the Warrior" DLC will be out tomorrow, March 31. The date was initially rumored until the recent Fan Axxess event hosted by IGN.
But even before the actual release of the biggest expansion pack for the game, some PS4 players managed to find their way in and was able to access the DLC earlier than they should.
"In preparation for its upcoming release, the WWE 2K15 Path of the Warrior downloadable content pack was uploaded by accident to the SCEA store. During this brief time period, consumers had access to acquire the content," WWE Community Manager Marcus Stephenson informed gamers in 2K Forums.
"It was an error that has been rectified," he then said as he closed the thread that easily fetched a multitude of inquiries.
Stephenson confirmed there that Sony Computer Entertainment had a slip-up.
Meanwhile, the "Path of the Warrior" DLC pack is finally coming and it is huge. The third and last content of the 2K Showcase packs will relive the legacy of the Ultimate Warrior embedded on the wrestling ring.
Apart from the legendary fighter, WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and Sgt. Slaughter will also be playable with the add-on. This post-launch expansion pack is chockablock with legends. There is Honky Tonk Man, Rick Rude, Macho King and Colonel Mustafa.
As for some WWE Superstars, players will get Undertaker and Hunter Hearst Helmsley. There are even some icons outside of the ring who will be accessible with the DLC. They are WWE Hall of Fame ring announcer Howard Finkel and WWE managers Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenan, Paul Bearer, Sherri, Sid Justice and General Adnan.
As for the battlegrounds, players can choose from WrestleMania VI, VII and XII, SummerSlam (1988, 1990 and 1991), Saturday Night's Main Event XXIV, and Madison Square Garden.
"Path of the Warrior" will be out tomorrow with a $9.99 price tag.
