'WWE 2K15':'New Moves Pack' DLC to launch on Jan. 13, exclusion from Season Pass sparks uproar

Soon, there will be all new ways to finish one's opponent with the release of a new "WWE 2K15" DLC, the "New Moves Pack."  WWE Games Community Manager Marcus Stephenson took to Twitter to make the announcement about the launch of the pack, to happen on Jan. 13.

Three days from now, players and their virtual wrestling alter egos will be able to take down their contender with a Spinning Powerbomb, a Backslide Driver or a Spike Tombstone Piledriver among many others. There is sure to be an impressive set of moves to come but it is unclear what the others are or how many exactly are incorporated in the said pack, although the official site says there are more than 30. It seems that they will only be made known as the release date comes even closer.

The site also explains that the DLC, priced at $3.99, will not be included in the Season Pass. The $24.99 price tag of the Season Pass consists of three 2K Showcase storylines (One More Match, Hall of Pain and Path of the Warrior), and the exclusive playable WWE Diva Paige. Stephenson explained that adding more packs in the Season Pass will entail a higher price, according to Wrestle Zone.

"It may not look like it, but this was the only way to keep costs low for you," WWE 2K Games posted on Twitter in answer to a query about 2K Games keeping the WCW pack out of the Season Pass.

Fans have expressed their dismay of how DLC packs were lined up in the game's Season Pass, which is intended to follow only a specific scope. The game seems to have followed the same path as "Borderline 2" with its Season Pass mayhem. Regarding new content for "WWE 2K15," it seems that some may still be in the pipeline, the aforementioned site forecasted.
