'WWE 2K15' updates, latest roster: New patch, WWE Games responds to roster issue

Unlike "NBA 2K15," which goes along the changes that happen in the real-life ball game, "WWE 2K15" does not update its roster. The issue was made a big deal when 2K Sports continued to shrug it off and expressed no intentions on modifying its design on the members of The Shield. In reality, the crew broke up six months prior to the game's release. In "WWE 2K15," they remain to be depicted as a group, with the same matching dark outfits.

Fans put across the niggling lack of revisions and showed off their take on what Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose should look like in the game's Community Creations. Despite the change being badly needed, WWE Games dropped the bomb and declared that the three wrestlers will stay and fight as The Shield in "WWE 2K15."

"We model an entire superstar, entrance, animations, etc. VERY different than sports games that have a set number of body types and replace heads. I would know — I was a designer at EA SPORTS and actually assigned the body types," WWE Games Community Manager Marcus Stephenson explained via 2K Forums

"WWE 2K16" is likely to follow suit, despite WWE Games and 2K Sports being mum about their plans for the next iteration of the game. Nonetheless, it is certain that NXT Women's Champion Sasha Banks will be one of the wrestlers that will make it to the next-generation wrestling simulation game. This comes after a fan inquired about her inclusion to the game via Twitter

Meanwhile, patch 1.04 for "WWE 2K15" "is coming soon" and is likely to arrive at the same time as a new DLC pack for the game comes out. The packs to wait for are "Path of the Warrior" and "NXT Arrival," and they are expected to be out before Wrestlemania 31, which is scheduled on March 29.
