'WWE 2K16': 2K Sports uses 96 cameras to scan Rusev

"WWE 2K15" has done a very impressive job in creating virtual models of real-life professional wrestlers, and that only entailed 2K Sports some face scanning. But fans of the game franchise should prepare for more visual jumps as the studio is going all-out for the next iteration of the legendary wrestling simulation.

The new photo diary in the WWE website shows Rusev posing for quite a lot of cameras. To be specific, 96 shooters were all focused on the former powerlifter to capture his every angle and to perfect his rendering "for the newest video games" also known as "WWE 2K16."

What is amazing here is that Rusev was already scanned for "WWE 2K15." This suggests that 2K Sports is going for a no-holds-barred attempt at making the already good-looking game into a larger-than-life spectacle.

With this comes expectations that character models will be picture-perfect as they get closer and more spot-on than ever before to their real-life counterparts. From the way they slam their opponents to how they show their rage, everything about the fighters in the ring will make gamers feel like they have the real deal, not that they don't get that with "WWE 2K15" already. This is merely a promise that the video game series can get way better.

What will be greater to see for "WWE 2K16" are wrestlers and personalities who were not scanned for the current game. Nothing will make the title the best one of its lineup than having Brock Lesnar, the Undertaker and The Rock brawl and scrap inside the ring. As the stage runs red, it will also be exciting to see Vince McMahon messing with his least favorite wrestlers as usual in "WWE 2K16." After all, this foursome was seen in action with their own business in the recent Wrestlemania 31.

As for the wrestlers who might make it to the title, there's WWE diva Sasha Banks and Zack Ryder, whose inclusion is still up in the air. The wrestler has doubts that his spiky hair and his signature bandana have a place in "WWE 2K16."
