A slew of new details about "WWE 2K16" has arrived and they all make it seem that the latest iteration of the popular wrestling simulation really is 2K Sports' best one yet. The new information is about the change of roles outside and inside the ring. 

For starters, Gameranx reports that John Bradshaw Layfield aka JBL is joining Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler in the commentary team. The site says that this will challenge the group's dynamics. The latter two have reportedly recorded their lines already but the site says they have to record again with JBL in it. 

Another change in "WWE 2K16" is Lillian Garcia's return as ring announcer. It was supposed to be Justin Roberts in the post but since he didn't renew his contract last year, it looks like the game will have to adjust to the happenings in the real world and have someone fill in the spot. Gameranx says there's no one else more perfect for the job than Garcia. 

Meanwhile, The Rem has word that "WWE 2K16" will feature various career modes. With Hulk Hogan no longer in the game, other superstars will be taking center stage in the game with their own careers to be retold. 

The site says that The Rock will have one and his career mode will start from the first time he fought inside the ring in the survivor series up until his heated rivalry with John Cena. Speaking of Cena, the wrestling sim is expected to feature the rivalries and the glories he had involving the U.S. Championship title. 

Another career mode features the SHIELD. It will allow players to fight as one of the team's members: Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins or Dean Ambrose. Here, gamers will make their way into the World Heavyweight Championship. 

Lastly, an NXT career mode will reportedly be in the game. Gamers can play as wrestlers Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Neville, Hideo Itami, or Sami Zayn.

"WWE 2K16" will be released for the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 on Oct. 27.
