'WWE 2k16' DLC update: 'Future Stars' pack will launch Jan. 26

The "WWE 2k16 Future Stars" downloadable content pack will be made available to gamers this Jan. 26, 2016, and will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

In an official post in the "WWE 2k16" website, the creators have announced that that premium DLC will be coming before the month ends. The DLC will include new players including Samoa Joe, and tag teams Los Matadores, composed of Diego and Fernando, and Blake and Murphy. Photos of the players are expected to be released on the game's official social media pages, Facebook and Twitter, anytime soon.

The DLC also includes a wide variety of new moves including the Corner Enzuigiri, Avalanche Ram, Sidewinder Suplex, Standing Crossface Chickenwing and Dragon Sleeper. WWE legends such as Big Boss Man, Dusty Rhodes, Lita, Mr. Perfect, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Trish Stratus will also be part of the pack.

Additional matches are also available for purchase as DLC packs with new playable matches including "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs. Jake "The Snake" Roberts," Rikishi vs. The Rock, Alundra Blayze vs. Paige; Larry Zbyszko and Arn Anderson vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat and Dustin Rhodes and Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Ric Flair.

A fun DLC additional pack has also been announced featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator as one of the wrestler options. The DLC pack is available for free for gamers who register to the Season Pass, which costs $24.99, but can also be ordered separately.

"WWE 2k16" is a wrestling game based on the popular sports franchise, WWE, and was developed by Yuke's and Visual Concepts and published by 2K Sports. The game was released back in October 27, 2015 and has since then received positive feedback from gamers and critics. IGN gives the wrestling video game a score of 8.8 out of 10.
