The newly released Future Stars downloadable pack (DLC) pack for "WWE 2K16" will be adding five new characters to the game.

First off, the new DLC pack will be introducing Samoa Joe, who is currently one of the headliners of World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) developmental program NXT. On top of that, Samoa Joe also has a fairly established professional wrestling background as he has been a star for other wrestling promotions in the past.

The Future Stars DLC pack will also be adding tag team partners Blake and Murphy to "WWE 2K16." Both Blake and Murphy have made their mark in the WWE as standouts in the tag team division of NXT, and the pair will be adding even more depth to the game.

Also being appended to "WWE 2K16" via the new DLC pack are the Los Matadores, a tag team made up of Diego and Fernando. Unlike the other three characters included in the DLC pack, the two wrestlers have been performing as part of the WWE's main roster.

Players who are interested to buy the new Future Stars DLC pack can get it on its own for $7.99 or as part of the game's season pass that is available for $24.99.

The "Future Stars" DLC pack will be released on Jan. 26.

A new patch recently released for "WWE 2K16" is also adding support for the upcoming DLC pack, according to Attack of the Fanboy.

Aside from adding DLC support, the recently released patch is also focused on providing minor tweaks for the game in the form of new entrance and title animations for some WWE superstars. The new patch will also be adding some new items to the game's creation mode.

As always, a variety of other bug fixes and tweaks are also coming to "WWE 2K16" via the newly released patch.
