The first group of "WWE 2K17" roster has been named in a very special unveiling during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016.

WWE portrait artist Rob Schamberger painted the first three fighters to be playable in "WWE 2K17" on a huge canvas. As fans would have figured out already, John Cena is among the group.

Known as one of the most esteemed wrestlers in the history of WWE, the leader of Cenation made a comeback last end of May in the WWE ring following a five-month hiatus due to a shoulder injury.

The 15-time world champion is continually being poised as one of the top superstars in WWE. He recently scored a big fight at the WWE Money in the Bank against AJ Styles.

Fans will remember that he was the cover star for "WWE 2K15" so "WWE 2K" fans won't miss Cena in the video game series. His prominence in the industry undoubtedly landed him a spot in "WWE 2K17."

The second "WWE 2K17" fighter is no other than the late WWE Hall of Famer Ultimate Warrior, an addition that, like Cena's inclusion, comes as no surprise to many.

Ultimate Warrior continues to represent the legends and old hands of WWE in the 2K Sports-developed games and has been in previous iterations of the popular wrestling simulation game.

Schamberger completed his work of art with the Legit Boss herself, Sasha Banks, who is one of the most popular, if not the biggest, women's fighter in WWE at the moment.

Joining Cena, Ultimate Warrior and Banks in "WWE 2K17" is Goldberg, who was announced as a pre-order bonus for the game. The former World Heavyweight champ comes in two versions with a pair of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) arenas to boot.

"WWE 2K17" will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PS3 in October.
