WWE Draft 2016 predictions: John Cena, Roman Reigns not the big superstars for Raw and SmackDown?

In the past, WWE Draft rumors had it that John Cena will headline SmackDown while Roman Reigns will be the main man for Raw. However, this vision is now very unlikely.

Cena has already announced that he is taking a "slower" schedule in WWE, which, Forbes says, defeats WWE's plan to give him the top billing on SmackDown.

Meanwhile, due to his suspension following a violation in WWE's Wellness Policy, Reigns is no longer being poised as the top guy for Raw, as per WWE Draft rumors.

"A lot of reports are out regarding Vince McMahon's feelings and such which may not be completely accurate, but he was very upset at Reigns about failing the drug test and it will probably play into the roster split decision making," Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports (via Forbes).

"Reigns will still be pushed as one of the top guys going forward, but whether he'll be pushed as the top guy, particularly with the fans rejecting it so harshly, is something only he knows," it added.

According to Forbes, the WWE should put Cena and Reigns in the second place and focus their energy on building up other superstars like AJ Styles for SmackDown and Seth Rollins for Raw.

The WWE can also put to very good use the likes of Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Cesaro, making for a great WWE Draft turnout.

Meanwhile, in a mock draft by Bleacher Report, Cena and Reigns were placed third and fourth while the other two The Shield members were on the top of the list, with Ambrose imagined as the top guy for SmackDown.

Styles is expected to be in SmackDown, too, together with Cena and both are expected to duel for the top title in the said brand.

In related WWE Draft rumors, Finn Balor is expected to be in the main roster after the draft, which will take place on Tuesday, July 19.
