John Cena seems to be on course to his highly publicized vacation from the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) scene, with nothing definite on why he is taking a leave.

Cena, the current face of the WWE has made his intention to go on leave, and such has gotten the WWE world thinking on the reason behind such.

Cena is not injured nor connected with any other things such as films or personal issues, but he does say that the real reason for his time off will be revealed in due time.

However, there was something that does seem a bit fishy and this was that statement he reportedly made that his leave will work to the benefit of the WWE and presumably the people backstage.

So what does he really mean by that?

Rumors are flying and speculations continue to pile up. But until the time comes when the real reason behind his temporary respite is revealed, none of them should be taken seriously.

But by saying that his leave will be a good thing does bring out various ideas. Was it meant to see if the WWE could give someone else a big push and perhaps help in the ratings? Or is it because right now, it seems a bit odd to see him getting booed despite his efforts each night out, considering that he is a face wrestler?

Cena has been mingling in the middle cards right now with Seth Rollins up there reigning supreme. Of course, Cena did get his chance at Rollins but eventually lost, thanks to Jon Stewart's interference.

So what gives? Will someone be challenged to take his place and rise above the ranks?

If this is the case, that person could be the one who would wrest the U.S. title from the Cenation leader.

With WWE Hell in a Cell just a couple of weeks away, there is no mention of whom he will be facing. Cena is expected to lose the title but the big question is — to whom?

Big E, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Dolph Ziggler have been mentioned in recent days to succeed Cena. Of the mix, Ziggler still seems like a wise choice.

Recall that Ziggler was in the headlines earlier this year. He was rumored to have doubts about re-signing unless he would be given a big push. Many thought that the said push would be that film role, but then again, everyone knows that Ziggler was leaning more on the WWE scene.

Could this rumor about possibly succeeding Cena be it? Could it be the start of higher profile matches in the future as well for the Show Off?
