Kevin Owens' victory over John Cena was not that surprising to many. In fact, it was something that many felt was going to happen. And so it did.

During the recent WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Owens made a good account of himself and cleanly defeated Cena. There were no cheapshots or interference, purely skill and talent which proved to one and all that the NXT has done a great job honing future talents for the WWE main roster.

Cena is one known to be prepared for anything and seeing that he has had a dose of what Owens can do, he was pretty much prepared for what Owens brought to the ring. And when the smoke cleared it was pretty much a statement that Owens debuted emphatically and chances are his bump was well worth it.

But can Owens do it two-in-a-row? Cena is no pushover and when the chips are down, he has been known to rebound and in style.

Cena did that with Rusev, failing on the first try but thereafter frustrating Rusev after that. There were of course some outside factors such as Lana and Rusev's diversionary tactics but Owens is far different.

Owens may be cocky but when it comes to what he can do, it is obvious that he is doing it on his own without any help at that. From the looks of it, Owens has a bright future ahead and stands to be among the ranks of regular WWE superstars from here on.

Hence, Cena vs. Owens has been set for WWE Money in the Bank, one of two matches already made official.

The other match will see Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Neville, Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston vie for the Money in the Bank briefcase, a prize that has changed the careers of wrestlers who have won the said match.

The last was of course Seth Rollins and we all know how it turned out since he is the current WWE heavyweight champion. Who could it be this year?
