WWE Money in the Bank 2015 news, rumors: Reigns favored to win briefcase?

Roman Reigns has spent a lot of time on the background lately, something attributed to the fact that he would need to rebuild his hype to get back on top.

It is a given that Reigns is being groomed by the WWE but things haven't necessarily panned out especially when one considers the WWE Universe.

To recall, the fans didn't take too well of Reigns when he won this year's Royal Rumble. There were controversies and questions surrounding the capability of Reigns to be the new top dog in the WWE and such forced the WWE to move into a different direction. And everyone knows that fell on the shoulders of Seth Rollins.

Now, Reigns is once again in the thick of things and many believe that Reigns will come out the winner of this year's Money in the Bank briefcase.

Providing Reigns competition are Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Kane, Neville and Kofi Kingston. With that group in mind, it is believed the one who wins it is one step closer to being the WWE heavyweight champion.

Assessing the competitors, Reigns seems to be the odd-on-choice. He lost the chance when fans disapproved and now is the chance to reclaim lost glory.

The thing is, does Reigns need the leverage (the MOTB briefcase) to cash in when he wants to?

Judging by how Reigns has been performing, skill-wise he would not need it. But winning the match offers him the perfect opportunity to cash in when he wants to. That is perhaps the only benefit seen since Reigns is obviously a wrestler who can easily contend with Rollins or any current champ for that matter with the help of the WWE of course.

If Reigns wins it all as speculated, one has to wonder how the WWE Universe will react. Everyone knows what happened at the Royal Rumble and this time around (if he does win) hopefully the Rock (Dwayne Johnson) won't have to bail him out again.
