It took some time but finally it will happen. The WWE had long planned of launching in the United Kingdom and Ireland and such will happen starting this coming Monday, January 19. The announcement was made by was announced by WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon.

Fans were expecting the WWE to come to the UK and Ireland as early as October. However, the company shelved those plans after discussions with potential partners seemed to have bogged down. But now, the WWE is going full steam and the WWE fans over in the UK and Ireland will be able to avail of stream services starting Monday.

For fans who would be availing of the service, a 24/7 programming and 2,700 hours of on-demand content awaits them. That includes being able to keep tabs with the latest updates in the WWE, WCW and the ECW pay-per-views.

This development is also timely considering the wrestling fans will be able to subscribe for the WWE's scheduled pay-per-view set on January 25, the yearly Royal Rumble pay-per-view.

Fans can go to WWE.com and sign up to watch the show. After successfully signing up, they will have different ways of enjoying the latest from the WWE. That includes accessing through laptops, mobile phones or through TV-supported devices like Apple TV, Roku or even the Sony Playstations.

The WWE Network will be available for £9.99 in the U.K. and €12.99 in Ireland with no commitment.
