WWE News 2015: Has Sheamus already cashed in his MOTB briefcase?

Did he or didn't he?

With reigning WWE champion still uncertain if John Cena would ever be at WWE SummerSlam, it seems that he had time to defend his title. But the problem was against who?

To figure that out, there was a Triple Threat match held that night involving Randy Orton, Cesaro and Kevin Owens. The match did take place and when the smoke cleared, it was Randy Orton who came out as the victor after pinning Owens.

The win became Orton's ticket to face Rollins later on in the evening and it seemed that the Viper was pretty much prepared for it. Orton had a golden chance to defeat Rollins until Sheamus decided to join the party.

Sheamus took out Orton and then used his patented Brogue Kick on Rollins. It seemed that Sheamus had intended to cash-in but the match never got to start when Orton came back to land an RKO on the Celtic Warrior.

So did he cash in or not? From the looks of it, Sheamus did not. It was one of those unorthodox moments but the thing is, the briefcase remains with Sheamus. Will he try to cash it in again at WWE SummerSlam?

Well it could depend on the scenario. If he sees another opportunity where Rollins would be at a disadvantage, expect the tomahawk-bearing Sheamus to cash-in once again.

But before that happens, there is the question on whether John Cena would be around to face off Rollins.

Rollins and Cena are scheduled to face off at WWE SummerSlam in a winner-take-all match. This involves the WWE Heavyweight title and the Intercontinental title.

Cena is still doubtful and has yet to make an appearance after suffering a nose injury at the hands of Rollins. There could be some answers revealed at WWE Smackdown or even before WWE SummerSlam takes center stage this Sunday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
