WWE news 2015: Lana returns; Tommy Dreamer answers at RAW

There were two faces that re-appeared last Monday on World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) RAW, the ravishing Lana and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) legend Tommy Dreamer.

With a locker room full of wounded stars, the return of both WWE personalities could help a bit in the ratings department depending on how the WWE creative team works them.

Lana makes her return after suffering from a wrist injury and she is back again in the arms of real-life partner Rusev. It was an uncanny reunion of sorts seeing the storylines that saw Lana being tied up with Dolph Ziggler and Rusev with Summer Rae.

All that was, of course, railroaded when TMZ first reported that the two were engaged back in October. From that point, it was obvious that the WWE had to kill the Rusev–Summer Rae or Ziggler–Lana storyline.

And now, the Russian couple are once again united and it looks like the Bulgarian Brute has a new adversary in Ryback. They Big Guy came out while Rusev and Lana were being interviewed on MizTV and from the looks of it, this will be the storyline from here on.

Other than Lana, Tommy Dreamer made a surprise return as the WWE continues to look for former talent to help jack up its faltering ratings. While Dreamer has his following, it remains to be seen if his return and alliance with the Dudley Boyz will stick.

Dreamer has been known to be a hardcore wrestler from the Attitude Era and hopefully, his return can somehow help the WWE as it tries to go through tough times with an injury-ridden roster at the moment.

Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and Cesaro are among the top stars in sick bay and right now the WWE is looking to make do with its current roster plus perhaps some other stars from its past.

But the question is, how long will Dreamer be around? Will there be more to follow?
