Scott Steiner has been quietly earning a living on the side, mostly independent shows. Nothing has been heard of Big Poppa Pump until recently when he posted via social medium Twitter.

Apparently, the 53-year-old Steiner was driving along Danbury, Connecticut last weekend headed to an independent show, Big Time Wrestling.

It seemed that Steiner struck two deers at around 3 a.m. and the photos he posted via his Twitter account were all that was left of his SUV which ended up a total wreck.

Based on the photos, it does seem like a miracle of sorts how Steiner was able to come out of the accident in one piece. Better yet, one has to marvel at how the strongman had enough strength to proceed and perform to the event as well.

Steiner was helped by local police out of the wreck and they were even kind enough to take Steiner back to his hotel.

Steiner has been around the wrestling scene, starting out as a singles wrestler before eventually teaming up with his brother Rick to form "The Steiner Brothers" back in the 80s.

In 1992, the brothers transferred to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) brand where they stayed for two years. From there, they went to other groups like the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), and the World Championship Wrestling (WCW).

It was, however, in 1997 when Steiner showed noticeable transformation physically and slowly crept away from his brother Rick. It was here when steroid abuse allegations came into play, although such was never really proven despite his massive build.

From there, the usual long curly haired Scott also changed his image into one having bleached hair with matching goatee to go with his new wardrobe — sunglasses and chain mail headgear.

From there, Steiner made a living portraying a heel role and then some face roles as it became a rollercoaster ride for Big Poppa Pump.
