The age of factions continues in the WWE and the latest group is headlined by Heath Slater.

Called the "Social Outcasts," the new group was officially introduced at WWE Raw when the seldom seen Slater got it on with Dolph Ziggler.

As factions are normally known to be done, the group of Bo Dallas, Curtis Axel and Adam Rose came in to help Slater, who is seen as the new faction's leader.

The "Social Outcasts" joins other groups currently up in the WWE. The "League of Nations" is, of course, now at the top of that list, a successor to the old "Authority" headlined by Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Seth Rollins.

Bray Wyatt technically has a faction of his own with the Wyatt Family, something that grew bigger both in numbers and size with Braun Strowman joining Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.

Reigns had his short alliance with "The Family," which included the Usos and Intercontinental champion Dean Ambrose.

Though the faction members of "Social Outcasts" aren't touted to be among the powers of the WWE locker room, they could do magic as a group.

But the question now is against who?

Dolph Ziggler was the first victim so it could possibly target all the opponents thrown at them individually. All four have not been given much exposure lately so it could be a big boost for the mid-card wrestlers who are left idle.

Slater, for one, was an almost forgotten name. It was the same with Curtis Axel until he was announced as one of the confirmed participants for the Royal Rumble, which will take place on Jan. 24.

The new faction could be an experiment as the WWE looks for new talent to perk up the show. But the real question now is up to what degree will the "Social Outcasts" prosper?

Again, that will all fall at the hands of the WWE creative team so fans will just have to wait and see how it turns out.
