Alberto Del Rio is done with his WWE gig, reports claim.

According to an exclusive report from Wrestling Inc., insiders claimed that the Mexican professional wrestler informed the WWE through his lawyer that he wanted to end his contract with the company 60 days ago.

The report claim that the 39-year-old pro wrestler and MMA fighter became frustrated after WWE failed to keep their promise after recruiting him last summer. Reportedly, WWE told Del Rio that he will have a main event push. Instead, he was included in the mid-card faction called League of Nations alongside Sheamus, Rusev, and King Barrett.

Other reports claimed that Del Rio submitted his resignation notice before the company imposed a Wellness Violation suspension for 30 days on him and his real-life girlfriend Saraya-Jade Bevis, also known as Paige, beginning Aug. 17.

PWMania, on the other hand, revealed the reason why Triple H opted to stop the main event push of Del Rio. According to the report, WWE felt that Del Rio tend to party too much, and he seemed to be a bad influence on Paige and a possible big liability to the company.

This is not the first time that Del Rio dropped out of the WWE roster. August 2014, WWE fired him due to unprofessional conduct after he made a racist joke against a company employee. But he made a surprise return to the WWE ring when he joined the Hell in a Cell in October 2015, where he went on to defeat John Cena to bag the WWE United States Championship during that year.

After Del Rio and WWE managed to sort out the terms regarding his exit in the pro wrestling company, F4WOnline's Dave Metzer revealed that he could be free to work in Mexico and other international wresting organizations immediately. He could also opt to work in the U.S. after several weeks.
