Can Paige put an end to the 189-day reign of Nikki Bella?

The two are set to meet at one of the cards this Sunday at WWE Money in the Bank and Paige seems pretty confident she will put an end to Nikki's long-standing title reign as WWE Divas Champion.

Paige is a former WWE Divas champion and has been in this storyline with the Bella Twins for quite some time now.

Remember that at WWE Extreme Rules, Paige was supposed to be the one to challenge Nikki for the title after winning a Divas Battle Royale back in April but would eventually step aside after suffering injuries from a heel-turned Naomi.

But since her return, Paige seems to be back in the storyline against Nikki though things haven't really gone to her favor.

Could that happen at WWE MOTB when the two square off again for the Divas title.

However there are rumors that say that Nikki could still come out on top and that the reason behind this is that the WWE wants Nikki to surpass the previous record held by AJ Lee of 295 days being the reigning champion.

So were the remarks of Paige simply part of a storyline which will most likely be for naught?

Paige seems to be the only diva in the limelight against the Bellas, perhaps a reason why Nikki wanted some women from the NXT to be given the bump to the main roster.

Seeing Nikki and Paige battling for the same title over and over again has become too repetitive and has honestly not helped in bumping up the popularity of the Divas division. So in a sense, Nikki may have a point that the WWE may want to work on.

Regardless, the two are set to face once again at WWE Money in the Bank this coming Sunday at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The event will start at 8 p.m. ET and 5 p.m. P.T. and can be viewed via the WWE Network.
