WWE Raw spoilers, rumors July 18: general manager announcements on Raw and Smackdown brand split coming tonight? Dean Ambrose takes on The Architect

USA Network

WWE fans get ready for change because the franchise will not be the same come Tuesday.

That's because it's all set to change with the Raw-SmackDown brand split coming into effect, with new general managers set to helm the brands and a newly divided roster into two separate drafts.

Dean Ambrose will be going up against The Architect in Monday night's battle ahead of the upcoming upcoming Battleground pay-per-view and the brand extension.

He'll be facing Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at Battleground but the prediction is that he is going to lose the WWE championship.

We will find out if The Social Outcasts will take to the ring on Monday's Raw, although as Bleacher Report notes, if they do it will most likely be minus Heath Slater who was badly injured above his right eye during a match against Titus O'Neil on Saturday.

There's also a chance Sasha Banks will reveal who is fighting with her in a tag team match at Battleground.  We know that she will not be joined by Bayley at the July 24 Battleground pay-per-view so fans have been wondering who it is she will take on Charlotte and Dana Brooke with.

Fan favorite Roman Reigns is another expected no-show as he currently rides out his suspension.  He's returning to action not at Raw but at a bout in Wildwood, NJ, this weekend before appearing at the Battleground PPV.

Similarly, Randy Orton will be returning at Battleground rather than Raw.

It had been expected that Vince McMahon would make show up at Raw to make some general manager announcements.

But DaveMeltzer in the Wrestling Observer thinks this might not happen

"It was teased that Vince McMahon would be on the show to announce general managers if Shane and Stephanie don't pick them, but in advertising for the show, Vince is not listed," he wrote.

The announcements may come from Shane and Stephanie instead.

Those who are advertised for Monday include Big Show, Mark Henry and Kane.

Naomi is set to return to wrestling soon but her teaser tweet was vague, simply stating that: "The Glow is coming."

As Bleacher Report notes, it's not clear whether this is referring to Raw or Smackdown.

Raw airs at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network.
