WWE rumors 2016 update: Brie Bella hints at following husband Daniel Bryan into retirement

The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) stands to lose another top wrestling star, although there is no definite date set for now.

The star in mention is Brie Bella, the wife of Daniel Bryan who recently retired from wrestling due to medical issues.

Bryan made the difficult decision since he was thinking of his future and wanted to have a family, and it looks like Brie may be following his lead.

Speaking at "Good Morning America" recently, Brie hinted at retiring as well, although the only thing she mentioned was that it's "very close."

It wasn't the first time that Brie had mentioned plans of turning away from wrestling, although the reason is the same. However, with her hubby no longer in the WWE, it may be for real this time around.

Brie is, of course, one half of the famed Bella Twins, although she hasn't really figured prominently in the WWE Divas title picture. Rather, it's her sister Nikki who has been in the spotlight, although she is currently out with a neck injury.

The curious thing right now, though, is that Brie is set to challenge Charlotte this Sunday at WWE Fastlane. It all started out with a promise at the last edition of WWE Raw. She wanted to make her husband and injured sister proud and so she did.

However, adding her title shot and that retirement tease, it doesn't seem to indicate that there will be a title change at the WWE pay-per-view (PPV). Assuming she does win, it could be a short one for Brie, unless the WWE made the push to try to prevent her from leaving for good.

A win by Brie may be hard to foresee, especially with Ric Flair roaming around. It makes you wonder if Daniel Bryan would be around to even the odds. If so, that would certainly account for an interesting match, with the "Yes Man" leveling the playing field at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
