WWE rumors 2015: Roman Reigns fails behind the microphone

The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) finds itself still in dire straits, made even worse with John Cena going on vacation.

The company is still looking up to Seth Rollins to steer the WWE to better ratings, although not too many believe he can do so by himself. Hence, enter Dolph Ziggler and Roman Reigns.

Ziggler has been, of course, tied up with that storyline involving Rusev and Lana; but it looks all that will come to a close. This comes after a TMZ report revealed that the real-life couple are planning to get married soon, something that reportedly did not sit well with Vince McMahon.

Now, it looks like Ziggler will turn from face to heel star and he may likely align with Summer Rae in the process. Ziggler showed a bit of that with that eye rake on Cena, although upcoming shows could see a more heel-like Ziggler soon.

Ziggler could end up with the U.S. title, although it is not known when. Summer Rae could get involved and help Ziggler and from there, it could be a change of partners with the two feuding with Rusev and Lana eventually.

As for Reigns, the Big Dog did show progress with his work on the microphone, but it seems he got a bit too much exposure when he was yapping at WWE RAW. The lengthy work behind the mic may have just worked against Reigns, and much of that was seen in WWE Smackdown when fans chanted that famous "what," which Steve Austin made famous.

Reigns is seen as the likely star to step up in Cena's place, although he may just be in the same predicament he was in back at the WWE Royal Rumble. On how the WWE plays this out remains to be seen, unless they have another star in mind to come forward in Cena's absence.

Reigns is set to meet Bray Wyatt at WWE Hell in a Cell on Oct. 25 in what many believe will be the end of that storyline.

As far as Cena is concerned, there is no official word yet on a match for him on the WWE PPV, although many believe it will likely involve him and Ziggler (plus perhaps Summer Rae).
