WWE rumors 2015: Shield momentarily reunites at WWE RAW

Shield members had been long rumored to be reuniting. Well, it sort of happened at World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) RAW last Monday, but it wasn't exactly how many had expected it to happen.

Thanks to the reverse psychology talent of Shawn Michaels, who was around for the night together with Steve Austin, Seth Rollins was sort of goaded into evening up the odds with his former buddies Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.

Reigns and Ambrose were up against the Wyatt family (Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, and curiously the returning Erick Rowan in lieu of Luke Harper) and the Man agreed to join his former brothers. But take note, just join and not compete.

Rollins had already been in a match prior to that, defeating Ryback. But as Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were discussing the handicap that Reigns and Ambrose had, in comes HBK to solve the conflict.

Of course, Rollins was hesitant at first but when HBK used that "babying" angle, Rollins took exception.

But then again, most people knew better than to see Rollins stick his nose into the feud and risk injury. In fact he did incur one (supposedly) and that timing couldn't have been better since he was about to be tagged in by Ambrose who had no other choice at the time.

For some reason, Rollins hurt his knee with no one around him and it was obvious that he pulled a fast one yet again. The match ended with the Wyatt Family winning via disqualification when Ambrose used a kendo stick on Strowman.

Apparently, Rollins' heel days aren't through. Hence and as far as the reunion is concerned, don't be surprised to see some more in the future. And perhaps when that happens, we will see Rollins actually work with his former buddies, although we all know that lies in the hands of the WWE creative team.
