An intimidating presence could be just what the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) needs to boost the following of its Divas division and that person could be Kia Stevens otherwise known as Awesome Kong.

Kong is no stranger to the WWE, being part of the company from 2010 to 2012 then working under the screen name "Kharma."

Stevens holds the distinction of being just one of three female participants in a male-dominated Royal Rumble, doing so back in 2012 when she entered at 21. It was her first and only WWE match.

Even though she barely had the exposure to build her stock, Stevens' build is something that could spice things up a bit in the Divas division, which currently sees Charlotte as champion.

Stevens last appeared on Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling, but a recent backstage incident led to her release.

Based on an announcement from TNA, Stevens or Awesome Kong was released following a physical altercation in the locker room when the brand held a U.K. tour recently. Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline reported that the person that Stevens tangled with was Reby Sky (Rebecca Hardy),

With Stevens now a free agent, various rumors have now linked her to the WWE. An unverified Instagram post who claims to be Stevens came up from nowhere, hinting at a possible WWE return.

Stevens cleared the air not long after, stating on Twitter that she had no Instagram account.

With no clear word on whether or not the WWE has any interest in bringing back Stevens for now, the Divas division could really use someone like her to tilt the balance a bit.

To date, the storylines have focused on Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch; stretching the roster a bit could be beneficial.

The WWE may also want to consider the fact that Brie Bella could be retiring this summer, with word from WWE.com that she may be following the footsteps of her husband, Daniel Bryan. The couple recently appeared at Good Morning America.
