Dean Ambrose will be one of the three protagonists when World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Fastlane comes around.

The Lunatic Fringe will take on buddy Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar in a Triple Threat match to determine the number one contender to Triple H's WWE heavyweight title where he could be at a considerable disadvantage power-wise.

Ambrose has, however, proven that he can pull off a stint or two against more powerful opponents. Ambrose is seen as one of the obstacles, if not the only one.

While Lesnar's dominance has been proven, a looming feud with Bray Wyatt could likely cost him the chance for a shot at the WWE COO's title. With that in mind, it wouldn't be surprising if Reigns will have to repeat his performance at WWE Survivor Series to snag that opportunity against Triple H at WrestleMania 32.

Per the rumor mill, Reigns is once again a favorite to win that match, although Ambrose could pull off a stunner. Much of that is because the Lunatic Fringe has been a fan favorite and something that could make the WWE rethink its strategy.

Taking away that Wyatt Family feud angle, could Ambrose and Lesnar end up feuding with one another?

A scenario could see Ambrose costing Lesnar the shot or vice versa. If so, that could account for a big feud instead for WrestleMania 32 which could be a better booking compared to the Wyatt Family pitch.

But as mentioned earlier, the power game tilts the favor of Lesnar in this one. But if it is something meant to catapult Ambrose to stardom farther, it could happen. We did see a glimpse of that when Lesnar gave Ambrose an F5 at the Feb. 1 edition of WWE RAW.

Right now, Ambrose is not involved in any feud storylines other than perhaps a brewing one involving him and Reigns. So far, nothing has come close to that, although things could change up to WWE Fastlane.
