Though the 2016 WWE Royal Rumble and Fastlane pay-per-views are still a long way off, the dates and places where they would be held have been inadvertently revealed.

This materialized after the WWE filed a lawsuit in California to stop illegal merchandise sales related to the recently concluded Wrestlemania 31 weekend. It just so happened that details for the two events were also included.

In the said lawsuit, it was revealed that the 2016 Royal Rumble will be held on January 24, 2016 at the Amway Center in Orlando. After that event, the WWE will tape RAW the following night in Miami and Smackdown in Tampa.

Another pay-per-view, Fastlane will be scheduled on February 16, 2016, this time at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. After that event, WWE will make tapings for RAW in Kansas City, Missouri before heading out to Omaha, Nebraksa for the Smackdown taping.

And while the dates and locations have been spilled, matches for the said PPVs are of course still vacant. With both still about 8 months away, all may depend on what transpires through scheduled shows and PPVs in 2015.

However, with both shows practically primers for Wrestlemania 32, we could see preparations for certain rumored matches for Wrestlemania 32.

Unless something changes, Sting and the Undertaker could start building their match once the Royal Rumble gets underway.

There is the Rock vs. Triple H match as well, something that could either be a singles match or a mixed tag match which involves Ronda Rousey and Stephanie McMahon.

Brock Lesnar could be in the limelight as well though it depends what becomes of the WWE Heavyweight title currently held by Seth Rollins.

All matches remain speculations for now so give it some more months before we see who will be fighting who once the 2016 edition Royal Rumble comes around.
