WWE rumors: Wade Barrett set for a dramatic departure?

Another top heel in professional wrestling, Wade Barrett (currently known as King Barrett), is rumoredly leaving World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) soon because of his dissatisfaction with the role he is having in the company.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Barrett is unhappy and informed WWE officials that he has no intent of re-signing with the promotion once his current pact expires.

Currently, Barrett is part of the League of Nations, a heel stable built to promote international talents, with Sheamus, Rusev, and Alberto Del Rio also being members.

Unfortunately, the stable is turning out to be a botch, with the WWE universe not receiving it well along with health setbacks to its members.

This is sad for Barrett, who lost significance since losing the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 31.

Last April, Barrett competed in the King of the Ring tournament and reached the final round where he defeated Neville to win the entire competition.

But unlike the previous winners who received a great push and became legends after participating in the tournament, Barrett found himself having a midcard feud with R-Truth.

The rivalry with R-Truth was a novelty piece and further lessened Barrett's chances of being considered as a main event wrestler or a championship contender.

Before going on a short hiatus, Barrett had an affiliation with Stardust (Cody Rhodes) as they became tag team partners facing Neville and Arrow star Stephen Amell at SummerSlam, in which they lost.

The 35-year-old returned before the month of September 2015 ended, and in November of the same year, Sheamus announced the forming of the League of Nations.

Since then, Barrett participated in matches representing the stable and attacks on babyfaces like Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and others.

Barrett was never really given a big storyline since the Nexus angle, which was his first major break entering the WWE main roster in 2010.

If he is really leaving, the veteran out of England will join a long list of talented wrestlers who were not utilized properly by the biggest wrestling company in the world.
