The pro-wrestling scene has been getting a lot of rumors, and the latest ones suggest that big changes are going to happen in the next episodes. One of those changes may just be a change of theme songs for WWE's superstars.

Veteran music composer Jim Johnston has been recently released from the program last November. Being responsible for many of theme songs of many current WWE superstars, WWE may just change them following Johnston's release. He has notably made the theme songs for Vince McMahon, Steve Austin, the Rock, and many others.

According to Sportskeeda, WWE is already planning to rework the themes. This change is not particularly new, as they have also recently changed Kane's music theme. However, changing numerous of the established stars theme might feel off in the fans' perspective.

Johnston has worked for WWE since 1985, so most of the themes he has made has already been closely associated with the superstars. Changing them may not be easy for longtime fans who grew up with the show, especially during the peak of the show's popularity back then.

Two years ago, the WWE Music Group had another big change when WWE got CFO$, a songwriting and performing duo formed by John Alicastro and Mike Lauri. Johnston was then relegated to a minor role in terms of theme song creation.

As for the new theme songs, fans will just have to see in the next few episodes if these rumors are true. If they are, possibly the best event to make these changes is during the Clash of the Champions on Dec. 17, 2017, which is now exclusive to SmackDown Live.

In the event, one of the most featured matches would be that of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn versus Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura. The stakes are quite higher especially for the Owens-Zayn duo as they may get fired from WWE if they lose.
