John Cena will be missed in WWE Live TV in the coming months as he will be busy with the production of the second season of his show "American Grit," where he does the hosting duties.

The leader of Cenation is expected to begin his hiatus by mid-October, which is around the same time the filming of the FOX reality show's first season started.

Cena's hiatus this year, however, is given more weight and worry after suffering defeat at the hands of his rival AJ Styles at WWE SummerSlam 2016.

He is yet to appear since the loss, but the fact that he left a "Never Give Up" armband on the ring's floor after the match had many under the impression he will be out for a while. However, it appears that he will be back this Tuesday, as per James Caldwell of PW Torch.

In addition, fans will remember that the 15-time world champion also lost to Alberto Del Rio in a Hell in a Cell match prior to leaving WWE to film "American Grit." He then returned two months later and managed to avenge his defeat.

If history will repeat itself, the days of Styles at the top are numbered. The Phenomenal One is currently after the WWE Champion Dean Ambrose, who is expected to lose the title to Styles at WWE Backlash happening in two weeks.

Should that happen, Cena might actually fight Styles for the championship and if he wins, it will be the 16th time he becomes champion in the history of his career.

As far as the retirement plans, Cena is keen on staying in WWE for a long time. He is getting asked that a lot, and he always implies that he is not going anywhere.

Known to be one of the all-time top guys in the company, Cena wants to be the one to usher WWE into the New Era and show that he is a timeless superstar.
