As previously reported, Brock Lesnar has been allowed to compete in UFC 200 this July 9, and according to a report from Sports Keeda, it is possible the outcome of his UFC match will determine whom he is going to fight in this year's WWE Summerslam.

It is further explained that this has nothing to do with popularity regarding winning or losing against UFC competitor Mark Hunt. Instead, it will be based on his injuries and how well his health stands after his UFC match. MMA fights are well-known to be quite violent and injuries are common and this will affect how he will fight in SummerSlam.

However, the ongoing rumor, as stated by a report from PW Insider, is that he may be going up against Randy Orton, who has been out of the WWE since late 2015 due to an injury. Orton may be returning to the WWE during SummerSlam and pitting him against Brock Lesnar would be a reasonable deal.

Orton has reportedly been advertised by the WWE around Texas lately and this could indicate he is indeed coming back for SummerSlam. At the time being Orton has not yet confirmed his attendance or whom he might be facing but the odds are currently stacked that he may be fighting Lesnar.

This is all possible if Lesnar is not going to be up against the likes of Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins or Dean Ambrose. With Triple H also rumored to fight some of the WWE superstars such as Seth Rollins and whoever fights Triple H may determine who is left to fight Brock Lesnar.

UFC 200 is currently scheduled to take place this July 9 and the UFC has agreed to promote WWE SummerSlam during the event as part of the deal to let Lesnar compete in the MMA competition. WWE SummerSlam will take place this August.
